Yoann & Marie Bourgeois present the premiere of their performance “Without Walls,” a piece which explores the world of dreams and shadows, continuing their signature approach of working with the body and space through physical devices and visual illusions, with the Nederlands Dans Theater.
“In the piece that we are creating, and that’s new for us, we clearly have a storyline. That hardly ever happens. We’re basing it on a simple story. That story is the basis of the entire piece. The story revolves around two characters: a dreamer and a dreamed-of. And all the other beings are not really characters. They are like spirits: We call them: The Spirits of the Night.
