BWGTBLD welcomes Marvin Leuvrey.
Marvin Leuvrey, a Paris-based photographer and artist, is redefining the boundaries of contemporary image-making. Seamlessly blending analog and digital techniques, his work combines 3D modeling, video, and photographic manipulation to create visuals that feel both futuristic and intimately familiar. At the heart of his practice is an exploration of the intersection between authentic and virtual realities, rendered in striking, abstract compositions.
Leuvrey’s commercial collaborations read like a who’s who of luxury and culture, with projects for Louis Vuitton, Jacquemus, Dior, Hermès, Givenchy, Loewe, Moncler, Veilance, Rapha, and Salomon. Editorially, his work has appeared in leading publications such as Another Man, Wallpaper magazine, Revue, M Magazine, and Epoch.
His artistic pursuits have earned him recognition on a global stage. He was shortlisted twice for the prestigious FOAM Paul Huf Award (2018, 2019) and for the Mack First Book Award (2018). His exhibitions span celebrated venues, including the Benaki Museum in Athens, Fotomuseum Winterthur in Switzerland, and Post Gallery in Tokyo.
A fascination with future realities and humanity’s evolving relationship with technology underpins Leuvrey’s creative approach. This thematic thread can be traced back to his teenage years, where early inspiration came from cinematographers like Robby Müller and Christopher Doyle. His passion for storytelling and aesthetics deepened during his studies at ECAL, the renowned Swiss art and design school.
