(not so) fun fact: we were denied shooting permission at multiple locations because women would be stepping into the sumo ring. yep, let that one sink in. In the end, only 1 owner allowed us to shoot these shots. I’m super proud to launch this Nike – New Girl campaign. Growing up as a girl in Japan used to mean one thing. Now, it can mean anything. So, what do you want to do? This one means a lot to me, personally. Dear girls, women, moms, anyone, don’t let anyone tell you that you’ll probably love pink, you can’t play baseball with the guys, can’t step into a sumo ring, or can’t speak in meetings. – Caroline Koning
