Mau Morgo’s music video for Brutalismus 3000’s “Europaträume,” produced by BWGTBLD, took the puppet concept to a darker, more introspective place. This follows the growing interest in puppets within the fashion and film industries, as highlighted by 032c’s Günseli Yalcinkaya in the article “Where Does The Puppet End And The Human Begin?” The fascination gained momentum with Maison Margiela’s AW-24 couture show, where real models were reimagined as jointed marionettes.
