Kristoffer Borgli grew up in a small suburb outside of Oslo, where skateboarding and making videos dominated his youth. His debut feature film, “DRIB,” premiered at SXSW in 2017 – a fiction/documentary hybrid that re-enacts the story of a failed violent marketing scheme for a fictitious well-known energy drink. This satirical take on advertising was written and directed by Kristoffer. In 2018, his short film, “A Place We Call Reality,” received the Norwegian Film Critic Association award for Best Short of the year. Kristoffer Borgli’s short film, “Former Cult Member Hears Music For The First Time” was an official selection for Sundance.
